Going for full size krieg army?

I will have a good 2k point Imperial Guard army, but I think there is only going to be a squad of Kriegsmen. 20 Seems to be a good number for them.

I love using my Krieg or non-matching regiment guys as scions - they're distinctive yet don't have the 100% different look that the scions do.

Or as vétérans, did the same with a few catachans I had in my first second hand army and added another 10 for good measure.

I like the blue on the krieg. I've been thinking of painting mine like WWI French troops with light blue uniforms, darker blue helmets and red pants.

Early french then. To be fair, they'd have a place. Paradoxaly colourful regiments as the mordians look strangely suited in these older codices pics!
