[code]Hi,

my question is: if after melee combat no enemy units are left, is it possible to move into engagement range of a DIFFERENT Unit that, therefore, hasn't been in melee combat up to now, using s consolidation move?

Or is it ONLY possible to get into melee combat with a unit by charging EXACTLY that unit?

Thanks in advance!

Ironwally

P. 35 in the 40K rules (in the 3. CONSOLIDATE section) is clear that you can do this with certain provisions. (Mind you it says "a unit must be able to end these moves within Engagement Range of one or more enemy units and in Unit Coherency")

So if you can end the move within Engagement Range, it is allowed.

Yes you can. Just keep in mind that the enemy unit that has been consolidated into can now attack your unit, but since your unit has already attacked, it cannot attack them.
