Hi . I have a quick question.
What Is the difference between cohort and non lesser cohort? I'm struggling to understand what this means with army creating for recon play.
Thanks for replying in advance for any help.

Cohort is the new term for the models your Warcaster or Warlock controls. This includes Warjacks, Warbeasts, Monstrosities and Horrors.

The requirement of having a non-lesser cohort model is fulfilled by taking any of the above with the exception of things that have the Lesser keyword. Most prominently, Legion of Everblight has a large selection of Lesser Warbeasts that don't qualify.

So non-lesser is a key word by itself that I can't add. Thanks

So warcaster and any warjacks in cygnar are the only things i can have in 30pts army for my small cygnar army

For Recon? You're required to take one non-lesser cohort model (in Cygnar that's any one warjack), but you can take whatever else you want. 30 points is very small though, so 2 Warjacks can pretty well get you there by themselves. You can take a light and a unit or a couple solos though. There's also specific Warcasters that have the Scout keyword that are recommended for that size, but its kind of up to what you're looking to get out of the game.
