Anyone thinking about backing would do well to just read the top few comments on their previous campaigns.

I've always heard wonderful things about the gameplay of Mythic Battles, and would love to go all-in on this one. Shame the pantheon that interests me most is the one they aren't reprinting.
That said, I would love to know if there is a reason to be cautious. Nothing I am seeing/reading looks concerning.

I think he is confusing Monolith and Mythic. Mythic Battles is owned by Monolith, and they deliver their games. Maybe a little late, but they do deliver. I'm really looking forward to the Monolith L5R game.
Mythic Games is run by the human equivalent of meerkats, who literally cannot stay focused enough on the bottom line to run a competent business. Anastyr, the Monpoc board game, and Hel were all victims of their ineptitude.

I think they were using new kickstarters to finish old ones. And then after their last KS, it all suddenly came out into the open just how precarious their situation was. They've since sold off a few properties to other interested companies as they try and complete the numerous crowd-funding obligations that they still owe.
Unfortunately, the last KS that they ran was for a Privateer Press property (MonPoc), so now PP is entangled with them, as well.
As for this - I've never played Mythic Battles. But I've played Conan, by the same company. My friends and I enjoyed it a lot.

Oh I am well familiar with Mythic... Those scumf***s robbed me for over $500 with Monsterpocalypse...
Glad to hear this KS is safe. I badly wanted Mythic Battles Pantheon and missed it twice due to life circumstances. I definitely won't skip this one!

I went all in with Pantheon and absolutely love that game. Definitely ended up with too much content on my shelves, but Greek mythology is my jam and I didn't want to miss out on anything.
Just got the base pledge for Ragnarok, which when you account for all of the stretch goals still netted a lot of stuff.
Isfet is definitely going to be base pledge at least, but sticking Ra, Apophis and Osiris in the expansions means that I'll probably end up shelling out more.
Zero drama, mispacks or any kind of issues with Monolith - just a lovely game.

Anastyr, the Monpoc board game, and Hel were all victims of their ineptitude. It's easy to confuse when the first run of Pantheon was a co product between Mythic and Monolith but Monolith bought them out not long after the KS delivered and has been 100% Monolith since then. Mythic battles, the game, was one that Mythic games had acquired that already existed and had great reviews on BGG but had no minis so Pantheon was a 2.0 version more or less. Monolith is easily one of the safest bets on KS as their new policy is a game has to be pretty much ready for production by the time the kickstarter launches and their goal is to deliver them in about a year (and theyt have had campaigns ship early like the last Batman). For Isfet they already have all the sculpting done and are working on production samples atm and the rules are almost 100% just waiting on some translations to English and finishing layout.

Monolith has a good track record of delivery.
The generic statement is that they still depend primarily on crowdfunding funds, which makes them somewhat riskier than retail companies (eg. CMON) who can draw on retail sales for additional funds, if any projects have difficulties.
Good mini's, but I'm getting tired of plastics that aren't hard plastic, and still haven't painted my Greek Pantheon set yet.

After Monolith took over the models have looked very nice, but they lost that little bit of whimsy and became very 'video game' style.
