Had a partial demo of this at UK Games Expo at the start of the month - looks a promising little skirmish game.

It’s built on a very straightforward framework. The mutations add spice.

One thing I’m iffy on is pushing your rolls.

Looked like a very competent system (no gak, it's Andy Chambers) but I'm turned off by the X-wing sales model and proprietary-ness of it all with the preset characters, equipment cards, etc. I'm much more likely to pick up Fallout Factions.

From what I was told when I had my demo, you're not tied to the factions in the boxes - you can quite happily use models from other ranges and come up with your own characters/factions.

I think the four in the two boxes so far are more thematic than anything else.
