Powerful Spawning Champion

Hello there
Many a year ago, I shared a beastman I had painted to this site, which apparently can still be found here:
https://imgur.com/9fNCi8T
I always intended to paint and share more, but for many and varied reasons, I never got around to it. Now, I was no great talent as a painter then, and I'm still not now, but I enjoy doing it and I enjoy sharing what I've done. And after all, I've still got a lot of beastmen lying around, waiting for paint, as well as some newer chaos models. So without further ado, here's an Ungor model I painted more recently:
I overdid the wash, I'm sure, but overall I'm happy with him.
Now, of course, I have some questions for these beasts that I've got to figure out. A few years back I rebased a bunch of them for Age of Sigmar, so of course it turns out that they're no longer going to be supported for that game. So what should I do now? Put them back on squares? Use them for another game entirely? Put them all on multibases for Kings of War? I have no idea.
That's it for now, I hope that there will be more to come soon.

Sometimes I paint people in garish colors, sometimes I do go for a little more "realistic", whatever that may be.
This guy's on a round base! Random bases, everywhere I look.

Some WIP of the new Darkoath Marauders, these ones are pretty fun to paint.
Of course now I see all the little errors and paint smudges.

That is very nice to hear, thank you.
I haven't put together all of my marauders yet, and the lack of options on the banner was bothering me, so I dug through my bits box and tried out this kit-bash.
The banner is from whfb dwarf set, though I'm not sure which one. I tried to cut the runes off with an exacto knife, to me it looks decently chaosy, perhaps these are more bookish barbarian marauders. Paint will cover the marks from removing the runes, I think.

That's a great banner, would be especially good for Tzeentch worshippers.

Lookin' good! Dark tomes and grimoires of evil have been a classic part of chaos lore for donkeys years. Can't wait to see some paint on her.
These are great sculpts btw - haven't seen them before, thanks for sharing!

Love the purple beastman! Adds a little more chaos to the I reckon. As for the bases you might be able to put them on a movement tray for The Old World or just use them I Warcry or Kill Team (Fellgor Ravagers) if you have some guns to add (check KTDash for the loadouts)?

Thank you for the kind comments everyone, they are very much appreciated. Glad that the purples and the books all work well.
It's been a fairly crazy month and a half for me, for good reasons overall, like me and my wife's 3rd anniversary. Of course that hasn't left a lot of time for painting but I did do some work on this skaven I've had hanging around for a while.
"Guys hanging out on rocks" aren't my favorite style of model but he wasn't too bad to paint. And he is chaos themed, so fitting for this blog.
