Necrons have arrived on my table, leading to a long standing rivalry with my orks for control of BOD (Big Orky Desert). I guess the Necrons would like to remove the O from that since they consider it their tomb world.

But in any case, the Necrons have been on a losing streak. So we held a special narrative event. The orks were going to attack the tomb and try and take out the Necron Lord and win the war outright.

Game

Mega Nob in Mega Armor and 5 Mega Nobs vs. 45 necron warriors and a Necron Lord on a special 23 inch table.

The orks had 5 turns to kill the Necron Lord. All the Necrons had to do was hold out.

Well...I played the orks and was disappointed. Final death toll was a good 25 Necron warriors kil and only 1 Mega Nob killed at games end, and they made it about 2/3 of the way down the board, but Necron Lordy was pretty safe the whole time.


Still, was good drama as the Necron player got to watch his warriors get krumped and cringe as the orks marched down the table.

Don't worry Necrons, WEZ will be back!

Nice to see a fun narrative game being played, that's my favorite kind. Especially with orks involved.
