This is a simple prototype, it's crude but looks OK.

Simply put, I wanted the MK6 'beakie' helmet to have more of a jetfighter pilot's helmet feel, and I did that by adding a brim.

the main problem is that it's hard to make a symmetrical and neat brim with green stuff, it's difficult.

That looks pretty cool. If you are having difficulty with symmetry, what about making a press mould?

If you can do one perfect one, or if you can find a similar hard shape that works, then make a cast of it.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

WWW-STL that looks pretty good considering you’re using GS. Don’t forget you can sand it once it’s dried so using fine grit sanding pads (like Tamiya) you can neaten up the symmetry later. I’d also suggest using Procreate instead if you can get it - a two part putty like GS but much better: it holds hard edges much better and is generally easier to use. It also sands very well.
