I'm curious as to which game I should focus on for the rest of the year. Either stick with 40k 10th edition as my Orks or try to get into playing in person games of Age of Sigmar with my Seraphon.

For clarification I'm stuck between two gaming appointments at two separate stores on the same day next weekend.

The people at the store with my Orks are nicer and closer, I have that 40k Crusade going on until Winter but I've never played an in person AOS game (played it on TTS in the 2nd edition) and I'd really want a feel for it.

While I have around 2k worth of points for my Orks. I have around 1k of Seraphon from a trade I did two years ago and I have added enough lizards and dinos to bring the list to a 1k basic army for AOS. I do tend to like the high fantasy setting of 40k which I've been into for years now. Both the 10th edition and the 4th edition seem like they're trying to make them similar and trim them down, but I'm curious as to which system would be a better investment for the duration of the remainder of the year?

That seems like the relevant answer though you could certainly get in a game of AoS every 3rd week of the month or something to get a feel for it and see if your opinion changes.

Are you emotionally invested in your Crusade?

Why not do both?
Heck, why not try & do both at the shop with the nicer people?
Just alternate what you play each week. This coming week you do your 40k Crusade, next week try & get an AoS game. Wash, rinse, repeat.
