Not 100% sure if this guy is Primaris sized or not? I need a terminator chaplain for my project

He's Terminator size so he's larger than MkX armoured models.

That’s the most recent sculpt, so should be in line with the recently done new terminators.

That said I think he’s ugly and kitbashed my own out of the TDA captain from the Leviathan box, so can’t speak from personal experience.

He's gonna get converted no matter what, but I would like him to fit the size of my other termies

Wow that guy really is aggressively boring. I hope he at least has a full skull helmet as an option.

Which is odd, as GW normally knocks the chaplains out of the park. There have been a few duds (old-old Lemartes comes to mind) but more often then not some of the best work to come out of GW. The last metal TDA chaplain always ranked pretty good on “what’s your favorite mini” polls. And they've been amazing from all the way back to RT.

So this guy who is just kinda there, is a pretty major let down.

I've got him, he is certainly as big as the other new plastic Indomi Termies. Those guys are way bigger than Primaris, and hella chunky. They are all interchangeable in parts, across the multipart plastics and the monopose ones which came in the Leviathan boxed set.

I think he looks OK with the optional skull helmet and the storm shield. I do prefer the 3D looking Crozius over the one shown in the bx art. Same leg build as with the regular indomi multiparts, so shin plates are interchangeable and legs slightly poseable, easy to fit into custom bases and all that

GW’s single character pricing is a bit off the rails.

While that guy is awesome (and I used him as a base for a phobos armored chaplain) the chaplain I have leading my primaris company is the one from the indominus box. I’ve give that a large part of that is his almost 1-to-1 crossing the rubicon of the old chaplain that leads my fisrtborn.

I really need to drag all my chaplains out for a photoshoot. Probably when I paint up the kit bashed jump chaplain in the primed pile.

Thanks, this is what I was hoping to hear I'm gonna slap his torso on the Aggressor legs, and equip him with a bladeguard shield Should make for a fine conversion

Yup. The whole concept of a phobos chaplain is silly. They are all about screaming psalms while they crush skulls in a very non-subtle fashion. But someone needs to tend to the faith of the initiates, and make sure they embrace and adhere to the chapter’s traditions and rituals. I forget what caused me to kitbash him, probably an over abundance of normal chaplains. Or to try to get each HQ in the assorted armors open to primaris. I did have a lot of fun putting him together, and am really happy how he turned out.
