I'm trying to plan out an Astra Militarum army from an idea I had f4om back in third edition Armageddon war. An army based off of hive gingers. I plan on using Necromunda models maybe having each battle line units represented by a different gang. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on what the different necromunda models could represent. IE Kal Jerico as a Cadian Castellion, so ideas and input welcome.

Look up the Necromunda 8th, The Spiders. They are run by the Spider Clan, use spider markings, and are the de facto PDF of Neceomunda as well as an infamous IG Regiment.

I use some Necromunda models in my Imperial Guard army. Mostly metal Necromunda models from the 90's though current Necromunda models can work too. The most annoying thing is that most Guardsmen carry lasguns and Necromunda gangers carry a wider assortment of weapons. Counts as goes a long way though.

Ambots make good Ogryn Bodyguards or Bullgryns. Don't forget Slave Ogryns, though they're better suited as Bullgryns than Ogryns.

There's quite a few options for Rough Riders in Necromunda. Escher Cutters, Goliath Maulers or Ash Waste Nomad Helamites could all fit the bill.

I use Slate Merdena as a Platoon Commander. Pretty much comes with a power fist and plasma pistol.
