I’m planning to kitbash a khardron airship into a battle wagon, but I don’t know which of the 3 is the most appropriately sized for the job.

I'm going to second this idea. You can't go wrong with big things in ork armies. When kitbashing ork vehicles you need to think to yourself, "Is this big enuff?"

If you have any doubts, make it bigger.

Try to keep the footprint the same as the origenal model and the weapon layout the same.

so playing a battlewagon with 4 guns and a big cannon should have 4 little guns and one big one.
