New tyranid warriors detachment wooo - plan here is nerotyrant w ranged warriors, the prime w sensory assim. going w the gargoyles for a fat tar pit of -1 to be hit / 5++ - hive tyrant and the tyrant guard are there for a big scary advance and charge counter punch potential, also partially as a remedy for the lack of D2 melee on warriors. Wondering how worthwhile the two units of combat warriors w primes are, but also the 5++ and OC 3 may be enough to do some heavy lifting on the primary. Big ranged bugs are here cuz theyre just good and always helpful, Maleceptora defensive buff especially w this list I think, and bc of the +2S range strat. Do I need to go heavier on warriors to make taking 18 worthwhile? Is more than 12 still a bad idea? Are the ranged warriors really just the way to go with an ocular adaptation prime? And oh I have this set to 2010 bc Tyrant Guard just got dropped to 160 but the app doesn’t know that yet. Curious to hear any thoughts on list building for this new detachment
