Does anyone in here know enough about the injection molding process to come to a few fairly educated conclusions to explain the situation better for us non-informed?

For example, do they have different sized machines for different sizes sprues, and would it be safe to assume they don't have as many of the larger machines that would produce these sized kits, and they then compete with some of the larger models also for production time (baneblades, stompas etc).
