So when will GW start making their own paint markers?...

From what I have researched, Paint Markers are kind of naff for serious painting. Paint tones do not match the acrylics most of the time, markers leave tide marks on the finish and need several coats for good coverage just as acrylics. Also their accuracy either isnt superb, or they are prone to running if held in place. They're a great tool for beginners though!

Meh on acrylic markers. I just got a pack of watercolour markers tho, at a dollar store, and I have a cunning plan. They can be used to sketch out freehand gak like checkerboard lines, and after you paint the pattern in with real paint you can wipe/wash off the sketch lines.
The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
I would want to try the markers. I am not a good brush painter so this could make it at least easier for me and the minis would probably look the same.
I have a bunch of the AK markers
They’re only good for large pieces, and mainly terrain. For the time, effort and money, it’s easier to just use a brush. Or an airbrush.
I haven’t found much use for them outside of terrain, and even so, it doesn’t make the job and faster or neater, and getting the tip into corners and crevices will mash the tip.
I have mixed feelings about markers.

Can you update us if this works?
