So folks, GW was founded in January 1975. Not much days left and they were silent about it since (to build of the excitement of course). Prepare for something really spectacular in the next three days! What do you think it would be?

I mean, no normal company would skip something like THAT.

To be fair, the 50th Anniversary of the Games Workshop we know is a few years off yet.

I mean, it’s the same underlying company. But it wouldn’t do the products we know and presumably love if you’re hanging around here until a few years in.

Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?

Hey look! It’s my 2025 Hobby Log/Blog/Project/Whatevs

Moving this here, because there's no real news or rumour as of yet, unless I missed it.

Sure. But just a note from Dice Men:

We dedicate this book to the memory of Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons and pioneer of role-playing games. Gary was a visionary and a legend, a creative genius whose impact on the games industry cannot be overstated. Had we not met him, Games Workshop would not have become the company that it is today. White Dwarf would never have been published, Citadel Miniatures might never have been founded, Warhammer might never have been created, and our own Fighting Fantasy gamebooks might never have been written.

Yes, the company changed over the years, like others did too. But to ignore its own founding half an century ago? That would be poor.

No rumour sure, but Games Workshop's 50th Anniversary would be rated as news in the press - and it's exactly this month.

If there is actual news from GW, report this thread and it'll be moved back, until then it's not news or rumours.
