Any Spearhead players here? It is kinda my thing at the moment, but I know there are a lot of people who just want to play the 'big boys' game

Anyway, I have just snaggled the new Gloomspite Gitz Battletome, and had a little look through the new Spearhead:

Short version would be that they are very, very fragile (think Idoneth) and lack the 'big knock out' features of other Spearheads, but they are extremely fast and mobile, and have enough of the sneaky stuff to be characterful. Going to give them a whirl, but I am guessing the new Ironjawz Spearhead is going to be way easier to get to grips with...

Looks good. I really appreciate that they are integrating the Underworlds warband. Hopefully that's a trend that continues across factions (has it happened yet with any others?)

I ordered 4 boxes of the Snarlfang Riders in anticipation of them being the core of my new army for 2025. Might get 2, but definitely 1 of the forthcoming Army set. Definitely getting this spearhead as well!

Maybe Kragnos for a heavy hitting tank in regular AoS, if the other chariots that were previewed at their initial reveal aren't heavy hitters. Also got a Warstomper Mega-gargant painted up if need be.

Really excited for these mini's and new playstyle.

Were you able to pilfer any of the new mini kits as well? Edit : NVM

Anyway, I have picked up the models for this Spearhead, and will be happy to give them a whirl!

Eager to see a breakdown and any alt assemblies they might have.

That looks good. Almost seems too much for a standalone spearhead box.
