Hi All,

A friend of mine and I have decided to start playing Sigmar and neither of us have played since warhammer fantasy was around. I have picked seraphon but would appreciate some advice in putting together an army. So far I have bought the following:

The spearhead so:
10 saurus
3 kroxigor
Saurus old blood on carnosaur/skink oracle on troglodon (not sure which to build)

Saurus scar veteran on aggradon
Bastiladon

From what I understand saurus and skink armies run differently? I want to add aggradon riders but what else would I need to get to 2000 points? I do like the stegadon and skink riders but would they work with the saurus models I have?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Dakka and Age of Sigmar!

I am not a Seraphon player, but I have played against them. List construction in 4th Ed can be a pain with the keywords and certain Heroes locked to certain units. The Kroxigors, for instance, can only go into a Regt led by a Skink or Slann.

Looking at what you have, you could aim for a two-Regiment build. You could build the big Dino as the Skink Oracle. He is a bit less fighty than the Saurus on Carnasaur, but he can lead Kroxigors. He is also a Wizard, which is important this edition. The Bastilidon could also go in there, then maybe some Hunters of Huatchi. They are great little objective/battle tactic units.

Aggradon Lancers are very good. Two Reinforced units (six models each) give you two mobile hammers. Your Aggradon Scar Veteran can lead a Regiment with them and the Saurus Warriors. I think all that gets you close to 2K.

Good hunting!

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Looks like you have lots of sledgehammers, maybe choose between magic (extra shooting) and your monstrous units. So you might want to include some skinks.
