I am working on building a small Blood Ravens Space Marine force and in the lore they have a set of Custodian armor and a set of Grey Knight Power armor.

I wanted to bedeck some of my heroes out in this for fun (plus it helps with my modeling ADHD).

So how would you convert a Grey Knight Power armor (possibly into a librarian) and a Custodian?

Would you just slap on Space Marine Shoulderpads, or what other zany ideas do you have?

Thank you.

Ahhh... The Dawn of War II Blood Ravens.

Don't forget to include bits from the Imperial Fists, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Emperors' Children (They have a hammer made by Fulgrim), Space Wolves, Inquisition, Ultramarines and Aeldari.

Those are all from the game.

The GK is easy, just take a suit of their power armor and slap a Blood Raven’s paintjob on it. Or just use some of the more iconic stuff like the distinctive helmets or shoulder pads.

Despite not playing GKs, I’ve picked up both their PA and TDA boxes for bits for other projects. Most of my librarians have their roots there. Just with selective bits and a blue Ultramarine paint job. A few also ended up in the Deathwatch.

Custodes might be harder due to scale issues. Might be better off using a terminator as a base. Grabbing a shoulder pad and a relic shield might get the point across, and still be playable from a game mechanic POV.

Found some examples: what do you think?

I'm thinking I would replace the Custodes shoulderpad with a Blood Ravens one.

Also Castellan Crowe seems to be Primaris Scale, so I might be able to do an arm, head, backpack and shoulderpad swap and he could be either a librarian or a captain.
