Do yourself a favor and don't fall in the "what's the actual meta" trap.

Pick what you like and it's gonna be fun to play in a casual environment.

Of course, if the local gaming group is the die hard tournament player type, you have only three options, to listen to the recommendations above, get used getting steamrolled, or leave that group of players with their boring tournament lists.


You already have a good stock of models.

I would recommend you try to get some more trolls to accompany the one you already have.

Also, some spear chuckas or rock lobbas will surely be helpful, or a doom diver,

2 shamans are usually no mistake, and a chariot or two are also cool units to have.
