GW prices are a little absurd, so whether or not it's a good choice for $80 is between you and your wallet.

Whether or not it's a good choice for your army depends on variant and army style. One lets your army wreck infantry, one lets your army wreck monsters/vehicles, and the third takes away cover.

I would magnetize it, so I could have all three variants available.
