Ive recently started playing a 40K Crusade with some friends and decided to build a website to track the progress of my Crusade. what is a crusade? is that like a campaign?
Is it possible to view stuff without having to register an account? Like.. I can understand not wanting unregistered people being able to upload/change things but being able to view it without registering would be nice?

Crusade is my favourite part of 40k- it is a progression system that can be used as part of an ongoing campaign with a set end point, or you can just play against other Crusaders and grow your army's experience and their roster.

The coolest part is that all factions have long term goal mechanics; so GSC conquer planets, Tau bring systems into the Greater Good, Sisters sin, repent and become saints, Drukhari fight over territory in Commorragh, EC make combat drugs and stims out of the armies they kill, etc.

@BanjoJohn, the content of the site is entirely user created, ie you create your own Agendas, Units, Crusades and Battles etc to track your own Crusades. I could potentially add a page with a description of what a Crusade is and why you might want to use the site. There is an FAQ's page (https://crusadecompanion.com/faq) on how to use the site but the login is kind of essential.
