Hey all, I was thinking about re-creating the Medusa campaign in epic scale, but I came across conflicting information about factions involved. I searched lexicanum and wiki, the other tells me about Hive fleet kraken, and the other about hive fleet behemoth. So which factions were actually present? Also, which Space marine chapters were present and in what strenght?

Already known about factions;
- eldar (alaitoc)
- Chaos (mainly black legion)
- Imperial guard (multiple regiments)
- space marines (several chapters, including iron hands, blood angels, ultramarines and space wolves)
- orks (bad moon clan)
- tyranids (???)
- other (Mechanicus)

All the help are appreciated, thanks

If you're talking about the Fall of Medusa V campaign, it was a global campaign with the idea being anyone and everyone takes part.

Explicity the Space Wolves, Blood Angels and Ultramarines were all involved and Lexicanum has it as Hive Fleet Behemoth.

But again, it was a global campaign and very loosey goosey about anything.

Yes, precisely. I'm going to start Epic 40k (3rd edition), with multiple factions, and the Medusa campaign has the perfect fitting for armies. However, I want to paint my armies in official colour schemes to match the lore as accurate as possible.

Also, the campaign has a lot of variety in Battlezones, for reasons to get.more terrain and battlemats.

The picture on the Tyranid forces page is Behemoth colourings, but the text doesn't seem to specify, probably deliberately so. It just says "splinter fleet".
