Good afternoon,

I am looking to get into Kill Team with my friends. I am torn between three different ones to start out with. I am torn between Farstalker Kinband, Vespid Stingwings, or the Elucidian Starstriders. I wanted to ask those who may have played with these groups before to get an understanding of where to start.

One of my friends played Vespid for 3 months without winning a single game and almost gave up playing Kill Team, he moved over to Kroot and is having a blast!

I don't know enough about the Rogue Traders, except for the fact that they have their own Combat Patrol list too.

I've seen the Vespid played & not been impressed.
Not playwise nor modelwise.

I haven't looked into either the Starstriders or Kroot mechanics.

But from a strictly model point of view? If I were going to build one of these teams I'd pick the Starstriders. Very cool looking. Especially compared to the Kroot.
And I've always found that if I like the models I can make them work & have fun.

Some of the Starstrider models are slowing their age IMHO, but the team has insane kitbash/conversion potential.

The Kroot have historically gotten a lot of love from the balance dataslates, they were pretty good at the end of KT21.. but now? No idea how they are in KT24

I'll toss my vote in for the Farstalkers as well. I don't' play a lot of kill team, but I've had a lot of fun with them when I have. The kit is also really fun to build with lots of poseability and customization options, the models look great.

Also, they're a solid unit to have if you ever scale up into 40k.
