Tapping the Glass at the Herpetarium

I picked up another HH novel today, called The Unremembered Empire by the master of Mary Sues, Dan Abnett.

But I keep looking at the horrid cover art, with its giant primarchs (Humans reach to about crotch level)... the dancing sword angel in the upper right (what the feth is that supposed to represent?)

I've noticed that some 40k/HH cover art ranges from pretty cool, (Master of Mankind) to lame (Let's just copy a model to the cover, The Lighning Hall)

What are the best and worst covers in the 40k/Heresy novel range?

"Vulkan: I do not understand the question."
