Guards of Traitors Toll by Grey For Now Games had a great launch and features excellent plastic kits made in collaboration with Wargames Atlantic

now comes wave 2

On the plus side more content is welcome and seems to expand the game in a fun way, and for those who wanted the rules without being 'forced' to buy the minis you can now get a stand alone book

i'm a bit sad that the new minis are resin rather than plastic (not that I hate resin but more compatible plastics would have just made for so much more fun for converting, and i suspect a significant minority of the customer base won't buy anything except plastic)

Big news today, as Wave 2 of Guards of Traitor's Toll is available for pre-order, with new minis, more content and a luxurious hardback rulebook containing some exciting extra material. If you're a fan of Warhammer 40,000 author Graham McNeill, you should definitely check that out!

Add variety to your guard squad with Halfling and Dwarf guards, as well as a human guard who is just about hanging on to his ferocious attack dog!

The Halfling and the Dwarf can both be used with a standard guard Recruitment card from the Starter Set and an appropriate Trait card.

This luxurious hardback version of the rulebook comes in a larger format (276 x 202 mm), with high quality paper, stitched binding and spot varnished cover.

I have all the wave 1 stuff for traitor's toll, but I'll be skipping this - £42 for a handful of resin models and some cards is too rich for my blood. Hopefully they'll release the cards on their own later, I think they did that for 0200hrs.
