Hello mates,
I am working on a huge modular board (44x60).
The base are 5mm mdf wood cuts 30x15 inches while the pavement textures are 5mm foam sheets. I am actually in the painting/weathering phase but I couldn't resist to play a few games already (in the pics below Necron vs. Orks)! I found these foam sheets very useful also for laser cutting buildings and scenery as it takes much less time to cut/engrave instead of wood using a 10W laser cutter (Elegoo Phecda).
I would like to know any of your advices and comments as this is my first ever urban gameboard project. IMO the streets are not good enough; thought I should use cork sheets as many Youtubers suggest, probably now is too late to make such a change!
