So I have around 1330 points of Soulblight atm. I've been rather slow with collecting due to life, but I'm curious what I can get as cheap as possible (for Warhammer standards that is) to push to a playable list. While I may use characters, I'm trying to stay away from the big expensive named ones like Manfred, Neffarata, that one guy on a dragon, and of course Nagash. Still, my idea is to beef up my army with heroes that are around $30 or so USD.

I'm considering Manifestations of Soulblight, but anything else perhaps?

Grain of salt: Most of my Soulblight play was in crusade play, or spearhead games. And interest in my store has faded, so none since the new GHB.

Overall what you have looks like a pretty balanced list, covering all the army basics.

You haver screens: wolves, skeletons, zombies
You have up/down units to do stuff: Vargs
You have the Blood Knights as a hammer, plus your heros.

What else do you have for killing? The Vargs are not bad, but in my experience die pretty easy.

I enjoy Grave Guard a lot. They are pretty killy, and when near a foot hero give both them and theirselves a 5+ ward save. The Grave Knights have a similar rule, but it’s restricted to deathrattle cav heroes, not that you have any mounted vamp lords.

If I were adding to your list, I might pick up the deathrattle spearhead. It’s an expensive box, but you get savings over getting the stuff separately. The only questionable thing in there IMHO is the wight king on foot. He’s an old sculpt, and you have plenty of other foot heroes.
