It has been a while since I have used Google sheets and I have came across an annoying issue. When I am on an empty cell and hit enter instead of moving me one cell below it enters into an edit mode for the cell. I have never seen this behavior in excel and I do not recall this ever being a thing prior in sheets either. Is this a new "feature" that they have rolled out and if so is there a way to turn it off? Quite simply I want enter to perform as it should and move me one cell down when hit. Anyone have advice?
Far as I can see, it's just something Sheets does a bit differently to Excel. Not used Sheets enough to know if it's functionality that used to work the same as Excel does...
