As was pointed out in the N&R thread recently, the Mechanicum are in the weird position of having the humble(ish) Tech-Priest as their Line unit, but there isn't really a Mechancium Tech-Priest available at the moment - you've got the Arch-Magos, the character on Abeyant, and maybe the Magos Macrotek Enginseer within the HH range, but no generic Tech-Priest to fill that Line role.
There are several options to either use or convert from in the 40k Mechanicus range, but I was wondering what models or conversions people are using to fill this gap today.
Feel free to post some images and show us what you've got

So far I only made a list for planning stuff but Artel W and Wargames Exclusive have a couple of nice tech priests. WGE has some kinky stuff I'm not a friend of but they also got this: https://wargameexclusive.com/shop/mechanic-adepts/mechanic-adept-cepo/
Or that:

They both look pretty decent sculpts, no arguments there.

For “proper” Heresy models I’ve the Archmagos, Macrotek and that Assassin Lady that I can’t recall the title of and has seemingly disappeared from the Webstore.
I’ve also the Manipulus from 40K. I think I’ve also got the plastic Enginseer. They’re still in carry cases since I moved. And I intend to add others.
But they really do need to extract digit and give us 30k Plastic Priests. We need a fair few of them, and I do prefer WYSIWYG.

I fear the plastic kit might be 1 guy and 4 of those shrimp servitors, like the LI base.

A conversion I started a while back from a Fantasy Undead guy and a bitz box raid. I'm tempted to give him a few more tenacles going to the ground so he doesn't look so 'floaty'.

Whilst I think going on current trends it’s unlikely? I could live with that if the Techpriest itself is modular, so we don’t end up repeating the same model.
My dream is a set of multi-part Techpriests in a box of 5, but would be ok with 3.

Keep in mind next 30k edition might go back to not having a lot of tech-priests in your army. There is no way to predict it, now that we may be heading onto the inherently volatile edition treadmill.

I miss being able to field a tech priest in my Auxilia army.
I used to represent the model with a KS exclusive Maellee from Bombshell. I also had a pair of Astropolis KS models set aside to represent more of them, but never got around to it in the end. Hopefully the images will load:

You can literally just have a random Tech-priest allied in the list tho. I don't think repair is faction-dependent? He just can't go in a transport.

I am not up to speed one bit on the way things currently go, I just remember that when GW rolled out 2nd edition, they were gone. But would be neat if possible again.

True. But they seem to have settled on Mechanicum playing along the classic WHFB themes. As in you’ve some rock hard characters, but to get the most out of your other units, you need softer characters to drive them on and open up options.
Of course, it’s not a direct analogue. But it’s what the army composition and playstyle reminds me of most.
