Can i build dual Gatling or battle cannons with this kit?
I don’t think so but I’d like to be sure.
Thx

You can only use the Dual Avenger Gatling Guns if you play Chaos Knights.

It's one of each for Imperial Knights

No; it has one of each weapon option available.

Dual Gatling is an incredibly expensive build that's wildly degenerate. I'm shocked it survived the codex launch and would be much happier if Chaos Knights weren't warped around it.

It's really just the one detachment making it a problem. Heck, I don't even use mine all that much, I tend to prefer double battle cannons (plus the story element to force), and playing Lords of Dread.

i was thinking double battle cannons as well.
where did you get your second Countess?
internet bits i assume?
seems crazy to me that they sell a kit that you cant build all of the options with.
i'm sure its not the only one though.

I have a distressing number of Knights, so I've picked up numerous bitz.

Stop saying things like that.
When GW hears this, they walk away with the wrong idea of how to solve it, and we the players end up with LESS options as they make the rules fit the existing sprue - No Model, No Rules.
In some cases really screwing up people armies.

Instead you should thank God the option to equip 2 gattlings is a thing - even if you have to solve the "problem" of sourcing that second weapon yourself.
Buy extra kit, bitz order, 3d print, scratch build. Many options exist to get the weapons you want.

Buying two Knights per Knight is absolutely ridiculous and probably the most extreme example of why they've been pushing the changes they have. I'm all for it personally for exactly this reason.

I don't understand the phrase, "distressing number of Knights..."

Well, buying 2 kits is ONE way of sourcing the extra weapon(s)....

SMART people only do that if they have use for the rest of the 2nd kit though.

Does, "I want a whole House" count?

As someone not up on knight lore, how crazy is that? “I want to collect a company of marines” crazy, or the whole chapter levels of crazy…

its a decent level of crazy haha...!

from google.
In Warhammer 40k, the number of Knights in a House varies wildly, from dozens to hundreds, with major Houses fielding hundreds (like House Taranis with ~300-600 or House Krast with 400), while smaller ones might have around 100 or fewer, but often hide their true strength, with most Houses realistically having at least 100 Knights when fully operational. There's no fixed number; it depends on wealth, resources, and the era, but expect a large force for a major Household, often with subgroups like lances.
Examples from Lore:
House Taranis: Considered strong, with numbers around 300-600 Knights.
House Krast: Had 400 Knights at the start of the Horus Heresy.
House Coldshroud: Possessed 389 Knights.
House Terryn: Could field almost 300 Knights.
House Ærthegn: Initially seemed small (around 100) but secretly had closer to 300.
Smaller Houses (e.g., in Kingsblade novel): Could have around 30-40 Knights.

If the little knights (wardogs/amigers) count as knights for those numbers, a small house is not completely insane. If that’s only counting the big ones, it’s pretty crazy. Not beyond the pale, but a little mad.
