We’re pleased to announce our first new release for On Bloody Ground in 2026 – Augustus to Aurelius!

Augustus to Aurelius brings the Pax Romana, which saw massive expansion of Roman territories and constant warfare on its borders, to On Bloody Ground, following directly on from our earlier release; Caesars Campaigns.

The Imperial Roman army, whilst retaining many of its characteristics from the earlier Caesarean era, now has the option to upgrade its armour to the classic lorica segmentata, as well as many options for medium and heavy cavalry, including the feared Cataphracts!

We’re very happy to have been able to pack this book full of armies, and have managed to get eight more lists in to represent many of Rome’s previous, as well as new, opponents.

Amongst the lists in this book are the powerful Dacians, Sarmations and Parthians, as well as other iconic opponents such as Boudica’s Britons, the fiercely independent Caledonians, the Germanic Tribes, the peoples of the remaining northern Iberian regions, and the tribes of the Jewish Revolt.
