Good evening all (or morning or afternoon or wherever you happen to be).
It has been some time since I posted on Dakka Dakka, but it doesn't mean I haven't been hobbying. Over Christmas I was gifted my very first air brush, now I have extensive experience with spray painting "proper" things, just now tiny little soldiers.
But that isn't the source of my question or reaching out for help. What I am trying to do, because I am being tight with my budget, I want to try to mix up a bone colour from the colours that came included with the beginner airbrush I received. I figure a good starting point to learning the airbrush is to base coat the next army up on my painting plan a Tomb Kings army that needs a lot of bone.
However, the paint set that came with the airbrush has Timbertech paints, no idea if they are any good, but don't want to throw them away if I can get some use out of them.
So, I am looking to see if the brains trust has a recipe I could trial based on the following colours:
Ultramarine Blue, Lemon, Lime, Khaki, Burnt Umber, Neutral Grey, Titanium White, Scarlet Red, Mars Black, Middle Green, Orange, Purple.
My initial gut feel is add some white to Khaki and call it a day, but thought I would ask the question.
Thanks for your time.
