So, my wife's been considering getting into the hobby for some time now and after much discussion about the various factions and lore, she's settled on wanting to play Daemons (hopefully they at least get some kind of rules in 11th) and after more discussion she's narrowed it down to Tzeentch and Slaaneshi Daemons that are her preference and we managed to snag that new big Tzeench Daemon army box to get her started, and going to do the Slaanesh side later.

However, she is also a big fan of the Fulgrim model specifically, but doesn't like any of the actual marine models from Emperor's Children that would be the core of that army. So then I got to thinking... would a list like this work with the Daemon detachment:

Fulgrim: 340pts
Winged Deamon Prince x3: 645pts
Shalaxi Helbane: 340pts
Keeper of Secrets x2: 480pts
Daemonettes x10: 90pts
Total: 1995pts

Giving both Fulgrim and Shalaxi sustained 5's seems incredibly powerful, and they all seem like pretty durable profiles. The only downsides I can see are the lack of action monkeys and that matches might start to feel samy after a while.

However I've not played as or against "Deamons" in ages so is there anything I'm missing here?

The detachment only allows you to field 50% daemons - 1000 points in a 2000 point list, which I think you've covered but one to bear in mind for any further expansion.

Slaaneshi Daemons are quite powerful but can be outmaneuvered by larger and faster armies,
