I was just wondering how the models look compared to the full kit versions?
I realize they lack options but do they look good next to them?

These models were originally included the 9th Edition starter box. Aside from lacking a multi-melta for the Eradicators and pistol options for the Bladeguard Sergeant, they're functionally the same as the full kits and look just fine compared to them.

You can even convert them, just be careful, the plastic isn't as firm as regular GW plastic.
