Finally taking the plunge and magnetising the weapon arms on my Reaver. Got my magnets and drill sorted, but I'm genuinely nervous about getting the angles wrong and ending up with weapons that sit crooked or droop forward.

I've heard drilling a pilot hole first and dry-fitting constantly before any glue touches anything is the way to go. Also seen people mention using a spare flat magnet as a reference guide while the glue sets.

Is there anything you wish you'd known before your first titan magnetisation job? Happy to take any hard-learned lessons off your hands!

Hi toyenjoyer.
have you looked into or heard of using guide/locking pins?
i'm only dealing with knights but i had the same fear.
the theory is to add a rod that helps the weapon maintain position. some people place it right next to the magnet and ive seen them positioned a little further away.
the magnet hold everything together while the pin maintains orientation.
