Mighty Chosen Warrior of Chaos
|
Daemon prince
So having played the daemon prince for WoC for a while, it feels like it needs some tweaks. Some are for thematic reasons, others are to make it more playable.
The first major change is that it gains the Infernal Favour (2) rules. The main issue with it is Unstable and essentially crumbling over a banner. Being unable to hide in units, as it’s infantry and unbreakable, makes this especially problematic. Part of me also feels it should have Daemonic Instability simply for consistency reasons.
The next change is that rather than using marks from the Chaos Warriors book, it should have the same rules as the daemons. This sets it apart from mortal heroes and actually makes the Khorne one playable without making drastic changes. On top of this, I think it would make sense that it used Daemon gifts over the Warrior ones. This follows how Shaggoths work and means they provide something different from Warriors. Generally speaking, a Chaos Lord is a better option unless you want a combi-wizard choice.
Lastly, it should lose Eye of the Gods. Simply from a thematic standpoint, this makes little sense. It’s already been made a Daemon Prince — it’s received all the boons its god will grant.

Mighty Chosen Warrior of Chaos

I am certainly off the view terror might be a good idea.
As a Khorne player and have several models, atm, its very hard to use.
Well what I am doing is actually writing my own army of Infamy for each good and take inspiration from HoC combined chaos Rules. The main difference is to have one for each god and them another one based on being daemon led, mortal lead and beast led.
This was the rough draft of the model one
