I started working on this model when the Battlewagon kit was released. I felt that it was too narrow, and set about widening it, so there is about 1cm of additional width. One thing led to another, and it became a fully enclosed vehicle with multiple turrets - a true ‘battlewagon’. But I didn’t like the wheels, which seemed inadequate - especially compared to the awesome wheels from the original Battlewagon kit, which looked like they’d been looted from a WW1 heavy artillery piece. The WIP model got shelved for years. I came across it in a recent move, and decided to try and finish it in honour of the new Ork models arriving with 11th Edition. And I bit the bullet and went on eBay to find some wheels from the original kit. They cost a small fortune, but I think they make a difference.

I also gave it a fully detailed underside - no idea why I thought this was a good idea…

Nice work. The chunkier front wheels do work nicely with the tracks.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
