Hi not sure if being dense but don’t see what the point of the “Armoured Deployment” stratagem is in the Armoured Speartip detachment.

The Detachment rule says that units disembarking from a transport can make either a D6 or D3 +3 normal move even after a transport has moved or advanced (allowing the unit to charge still)

The Strat however says that the unit inside can disembark and make a normal move even if the transport moves or advances but can’t charge (Unless it has the Assault ramp keyword)

I don’t see the point of this stratagem as it is adding restrictions that you don’t have because of the detachment rule?

The army rule doesn't give you the ability to disembark after the transport advances on its own, it simply provides a bonus move in the event that some other rule makes it possible. Another rule has to exist to allow you to disembark from a transport that advanced and the stratagem is that additional rule for most transports.

It's a little confusing because both rules are still bound by the normal transport rules but written to cover other rules that let you break them.
