I guess search still isn't working so I searched off-site for a related thread found there is not one dedicated?

So here's what I'd like to know...

What are your top 40k trailers or Cut-Scenes of all time? (Try to limit it to just your top 1, 2, or 3)

I really want to see what makes them stand out. I assume I've seen most trailers (though when it comes to Cut-Scenes definitely not), but of those I have - for me - 10th Edition, and the Total War 40k trailers really stand out with 10th Ed being my all time favorite trailer.

Prior to, The Armouring of a Space Marine was up there on the list, but I also kept fondness for the original Dawn of War cinnematic intro trailer (probably nostalgia there.)

I feel like 10th Ed trailer hit many of my 40k buttons from the scenes to the dialog, and the ending with the last stand and the Marines (humanity) raging against the dying of the light was just a chef's kiss moment. I still get goosebumps when I rewatch it.

There's just not much comparable to the Ionic 40k Last Stand imho.

For the Total War 40k trailer, it's the clips of Marines slugging it out with the Orks, not so much the cuts to single action events, but the Ultras in group firing into the orcs. Total chills, had an inner child moment feeling the need to reach for a blade and a bolter.

So what are your favorites and why?

The original Dawn of War intro has a place in my heart. While I don't think that the Marines in there are portrayed correctly, it was the first time seeing a properly animated 40k related video.

"Astartes" is the best animation out there. After that, there is a long gap before anything else. Most Warhammer+ shows seem very cheaply animated, by comparison.

Custom40k Homebrew - Alternate activation, huge customisation, support for all models from 3rd to 11th edition

Designer's Note: Hardened Veterans can be represented by any Imperial Guard models, but we've really included them to allow players to practise their skills at making a really unique and individual unit. Because of this we won't be making models to represent many of the options allowed to a Veteran squad - it's up to you to convert the models. (Imperial Guard, 3rd Edition)

I actually love the big trailer GW did for 40k recently. It was remarkably comprehensive, and I like how it showed the horrifying spectrum of 40k.

From Space Marines getting eaten by Tyranids, to the awful horror of Guardsmen fighting CSM (seriously, that scene of them fragging a CSM then hosing him with lasguns as he slowly GETS BACK UP AGAIN was just peak, those poor guardsmen).

Otherwise, +1 for Astartes. That one is famous with good reason.
