as for the "lil" wings... well they are a bit on the large side... but i figure this is a major beast... i would keep them as is... i like where you are taking this journey!
as for the engines... i dunno...for me...i think they look perfect... the pipework looks convincing to say the least... after some gapfilling you are set!...of course then the true calling will come...riveting your little heart out^^
