hello,

I played a city fight lately and took a lot of losses getting close to my enemy (was a really big table ,nice one too) and a observer asked me why i didn't deep strike with my seraphins , am i correct when i answered that they can't ?

Seems a bit unfair since they have the jumpacks and all but i didn't find any reference to them being allowed to in the WH codex .

thanks for any useful bit of info ,

Shannon

Nope, jump packs don't let you deep strike. It just so happens that certain jump pack equipped units (ala assault marines) are allowed to deep strike.

You are correct. WH jumppacks cannot deepstrike.

You should be able to use the sewer rats strategem to get into more favorible spots however.

Seraphim are Jump Infantry, so that would be a no-go.

yeah, but a Retributor Squad coming out of the sewers could hurt too

No, a dominion squad would. Retributors would be SOL coming out of sewers, as they have heavy weapons, and doesnt that count as movement?

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers...

Dominions are required to take rhino transports. I don't have a CoD book yet, so I'm only assuming that might put a crimp in the plan.

Standing outside Jester's house demanding the things he took from my underwear drawer.

Those girly girls probably don't want to get in the icky sewer anyway.
