Subject: Ghazzkul arms on a dread?

Anyone ever put or seen Ghazkull Thrakka's arms on a dread? I've got two old chaos dreads that I want to convert up, and I want them to have two CCWs (it's for a specific game of Cities of Death), and Ghazzkull's arms seem the right size, but I want to know before I blow $24 on the arms.

I have seen it done for a GW Entombed Dante conversion back in the day, I can't seem to find a link.

I think US WD 300, in the article on Adeptus Custodes, had a dread with either Thrakka's or the =][= guy's arms.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

When I was repairing a dread I bought cheap off of ebay I got the idea of trying defiler arms / claws. They might be a bit too large though.

It can be a good looking conversion. I made one for my Flesh tearer's Furioso. I would have done it for my Death Co dreads, but it would have been too much work and money. I ended up cutting out each finger and repositioning it so it was not just the closed hand affect. Instead for the Death Co Dreads I just did a simple hand swap for the Ork Dread Buzz Saws. Simple but good looking. If I did it again I would use the flat blade hand on Thrax. It is a bit bigger and nastyier looking. buuuut I have had two Flesh Tearer armies, that is probably enough for me.
