I got these about a year back and have finally overcome the curiosity to but another army.

Well as I said I got these a year back on the dakkadakka forums and a guy named HBMC helped make them (he did all). I almost put I coulndt remeber who did them but I saved them to remeber you. (I'm backing you up and not trying to steal shizz)

(I like the second one because there is a balence to it and it involves an average amount of everything, wxcept for the thing IG are best at close combat

Ok. This is the first re-build. It features the normal outlay of Leadership providing units (CHQ w/Standard & Iron Discpline + 2 Platoon Command Sections w/Iron Discpline), plus the 2 55-man plattons, and 2 Russes. It, amazingly, only uses 5 out of the 17 possible slots on the Force Org Chart. Anyway, it has the Ratio of 2:1:2 Lascannon:Autocannon:Heavy Bolter, and uses CoD and Drop Troopers everywhere that they can be taken because they're free and you lose nothing by taking them.

This second list has an extra Autocannon and a new Command Section for extra LD abilities (freeing up the Melta unit to Deep Strike all the time if you want), at the loss of an HB, a Lascannon and 5 men. It's all formed around 2 35-man platoons rather than 2 55-man platoons. Russ and CHQ remain as is. This one also has a Medic as I ended up with 11 points and no clue what to do with them!

Finally we have this list, which is a slight departure from the other two. It has two 45-man platoons, each with 2 LC/Plas squads and 2 HB/Flamer squads. One is led by the 4-Melta unit, the other by the 4-Flamer unit. The Russes remain the same, but the HQ adds a Fire Support Squad w/3 Heavy Bolters. Additionally 2 Sentinels with Multi-Lasers join the list, but the Medic from the last list does not make an appearence.

You'll also notice that in all three lists the JO leading the 4-Melta unit has a Bolt Pistol rather than a Laspistol like all the other officers. This is because you'll often be aiming for the rear armour of a vehicle, which is more often than not AV10. With a Bolt Pistol, although you do need a 6 to Glance vs AV10, the JO can actually contribute rather than staying mute with a S3 Laspistol.
