I was bored with painting dark red over and over again on my Tau, so I quickly knocked together a Kroot warrior and painted him in a winter colour-scheme for fun. God knows why, considering I field O'Shovah I can never use Kroot...

Still, this is my first attempt at making snow on a base too (and I know, I know... I haven't tided up the sides of the base yet! ).

Any comments?

Beautiful! I'd leave the sides of the base just the way they are - it blends them nicely into the model.

I was thinking the same thing as Headhunter, leave the snow going over the sides of the base, it gives it a more realistic cool look.

I like the paint scheme too, lot of good highlighting in there, I'm far too unskilled and lazy to do stuff like that.
