Whenever I finish my sheep farm (this weekend at the earliest, maybe not even then), I'll see how much dirt I have left. I'll need to use some for it, but I'll also get a lot more from building it as I have to excavate some hills.

I've got a couple chests left, and I have pretty much no use for it, if you want to come by the Mesa. It's on the way to the Lab- but the branch off is marked.
I'm mostly building on the Nether Ruins, so I'm making the paths three wide, three tall. Hope that's all right. Using a mix of cobble and netherbrick.

I might have your solution... I've actually got a double chest full of dirt, but it's unlikely that will be enough. If that's enough (doubtful) take it, otherwise I'll use it to build a new flying island.

So you want me to take the server offline, download the world, MCEdit it, reupload it and bring the server back online, all for something you made yourself? I'm afraid that's a no.
I may go have a whack at it in creative mode if I'm ever really that bored, or if someone wants a chunk of it out of the way of their build.

I had no idea it was such an involved process, so I guess I learnt something. In retrospect, a walkway for 12000 blocks was always a bit silly... I apologise.

Sure is.
I would just use the nether anyway, and the Mycelum wouldn't grow well either as it needs people to be in the area in order to spread.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I agree. Also most of my friends use the basic texturepack, and its nice to know that they will see my creations the same way I will see them, and vice-versa. Some texturepacks can make buildings look really ugly :(

Like my cobblestone looks different (and better) than the default.

Anvildude started it with cobble and netherbrick, I finished it with stone brick and iron bars for windows.

It's safe to assume we're out of iron bars (again)? I might have to actually start mining for iron again.
On another note, it's really annoying when a survival map includes a long drop into water...then scatters lilly pads all over the surface.
