I find it amusing that the most preferred levels are 1500 and 2000, so most tournaments and actually played games are at 1750 or so, mid-way between.
Personally I like 1500 for the ability to have more flexibility and run faster games. You start maxing out on your FOC slots after that and game length expands considerably.

I've mostly played 1000, but that's mostly because of lack of models. I'm playing 1500 games now, but I haven't gone over that so I can't really say.
But 1500 pts as far as I know.

Nice healthy 2500. A large game with lots going on, the opportunity to field your best units with upgrades galore, complex strategies being made up on the spot...
What's not to like?

6 players 1000pts each, 2 different sides is just fun, enough tactics as trying to take down 3 different armies and cope with ur allies 2.
also means tht it is a big game but allows you to take a cheapish army tht is painted

enough points to field some good stuff, but still relatiely short. plus you can team up for 2v2 at 2500 points and not have a 2v2 take all day

1500. Yo can pick a good amount of units but you have to make a couple of hard decisions in what to take out and this for me is part of the game. 2000+ points means a crowded table you can put basically everything you want and the games tend to be dominated by firepower and saturation and not so in manouvering and tactics. This is the part I like the most of the game hence I prefer 1500 pts mostly.

1,000 points for me. Its small enough that you can get a social game in about an hour, small enough that its easy to clean up, and there's that challenge of cramming your goodies into such a small point limit. 48 models total on the coffee table makes a good, quick game.

Two thousand points is my gaming club's meta, though we have a couple of new players that we won't let play with more than a thousand points (they get their butts stomped at 2k, and we'd prefer not to loose most of them out of frustration).

I prefer 1500 and below. What can I say? I have a short attention span, so I like smaller games. Plus, smaller games=less models=less money spent on models.

I'd have to say a few different values. I really like smaller 400 point Patrol games, can enjoy 1,000 point games and can also really enjoy 1,500 to 1,850 size games.
