I love them, the newer models from island of blood look nice too. The back story is great fun, but my only hold up is painting so many models and also i cant paint warpstone.

althouuuuuuuugh if you can get hold of some necron green sprue or similar, and toast it up with a heat tool (its like a suked up hair drier) you've got some tasty looking warpstone

I haven't heard of this hate for skaven... to me the models look damn awesome and I like the fluff, but what do I know?

Voted like as I've always found Skaven interesting. Would never actually collect them in a million years, but really do like the background, especially the Doom of Kavzar story. The idea of a Machiavellian 'rat race' in both senses is genius.

Thank to Thanquol and the Gotrek and Felix novel series, I love Skaven and their backstabbing, plotting nature. I got a battleforce of Skaven for Christmas but haven't got to paint them yet. My dwarfs needed there arch rivals to play against.

I really like Skaven but GW seems to hate them. They need new and cheaper miniatures for most things.

Theyre pretty sweet but i dont collect them. Much prefer killing them with my Dwarfs.
