Larssus was unconscious. The round had triggered his Sus-An that had saved his life. But he had been left under the guard of a now contuse Surgit. The had summoned Ferrox, and the warrior was just begining his climb into the dark shaft after the strange people, lashing his thiry-meter living tounge out at intervals ot snatch bats from the interior as he chased the fleeing wariors…


(Ferrox is a greater spawn (aided by a greater daemon that warps him constantly) so, he can take everything you throw at him, just try to get out of the shaft alive, and he has a tounge that can eat people from the inside out, with a range of almost 60 feet...be 'carful')

Theo crawled through the shaft. Lotus was ahead, having took to the shaft before him. Theo felt the hideous thing behind him, yet it was about a half mile away. It was a abomination. How it came into being Theo didnt want to know. He didnt think Lotus did either. Suddenly he felt a warm heat radiating from something behind him. He knew that it was the beast. "Lotus move now", was all Theo had time to say before the beast burst through the wall. Theo jumped to the opposite side of the elevator shaft and started climbing faster.

Lotus ascended rapidly grabbing Theo with her as she went. The shaft seemed to dissolve behind her but she did hear a sickening slap. He nad automatically whipped down with a vibro sword and sliced through the tongue that tried to reach them. Her reflexes serving better than skill.

After a couple of minutes they landed on an Eyrie in one of the upper levels. She youched down and unwrapped her arm from Theos waist gently pushing him backwards.
"That... what was that thing?"

Theo shrugged. "I dont want to know. Whatever it is its hunting us. So lets move." Theo attached a breaching charge (his only one) to the elevator door. It blew open and they stepped through. It was a unused hotel. Theo started running feeling the beast was about to find them again.

Hey ineptus can we run a character from the 40k universe too?

(IC) Lotus got to the elevator shaft and waited for Theo,
"Should we take the fast route or the slow route?"

(yes, OK, you can run a 40k character, BTW, tongue has been cut out multiple times, but is hard even for an Astartes to see it, it would have to be harder than that, just sayin.)

like i said, she heard a sound and her body reacted she diddnt even have time to think

Ok thanks. sorry I wrote that on my tablet and wasnt sure if it was going to work. So watcha think. Took me 3 and a half hours to write.

I am impressed. Just a note on writing. 'Suddenly' is a bit of a turn-off. I prefer, 'without warning' just some constructive criticism.

Sylvex woke when Unova nudged him. He got up and was stiff. He looked at the surroundings but couldnt focus as he felt vertigo take him. He then quickly mentally rested then let the energy run through him. He felt fine then. He then looked around. They were in some dark dank undercity. Unova was attempting to get a reading of the area in the webway, but it wasnt working as if they were not even close to it. Sylvex then heard a racket and instantly shot his long rifle up. The scope was in infared which helped him pick out a target, but it was far away. He and Unova moved forward. They came across a group of space marines. Not just space marines, Sylvex corrected, Chaos space marines. Sylvex stiffened as he realized he was being careless and stepped into the shadows. Unova also went and hid, but further back due to his bulk. But the chaos space marines had heard them.

Theo shrugged, "I say the fast route that thing is nasty." Suddenly a bang was heard. "Dammit", Theo cursed and got up.

Oh and tyranic what do you think about that intro. I want as much critisim to help before i take a writing course, and want to be prepared.

Lotus looks around her swords drawn.
"This place is dangerous... This seems to be your show at the moment, so where are we going?"

Theo quickly did a scan of the nearest hide out of his. There was one very close, an hour away. "I know the place It`s an old hide away of mine. Hopefully we can get to it and escape that Thing", Theo said. He then motioned for lotus to follow and he ran and jumped out the window into a building across the way.

She hovers above him as he runs, keeping pace with his long strides.
"I would appreciate you sending the coordinates to my visor. at 13422564 in exactly 15 seconds

Theo laughed as his suit sent the coordinates to hers. He burst through another window and jumped onto a speeder and swiftly jumped off before he was carried. He landed on a pad. With a running speeder. The owner was apparently not very smart. He got in, and lifted off, but then noticed the thing was in the last building he had jumped out of.

Lotus was sitting on the Speeders bonnet her elbow lock dug into the carbon alloy holding her steady.
To all intents and purposes she could have been laying on a couch.

Her amused voice goes through a wide band close contact transmission radio that send the sound through the speeder itself. He would have heard her voice coming from the vehicle. It was one of her favorite ways of comunicating

"Theo... theres something following you"

Theo shook his head. "I realize that", Theo said as he psuhed the speeder to full boost. It rocketed forward. The beast somehow transformed into a flying thing and took flight after them. "Lotus a little help would be nice", Theo said finally.

she giggles,
"Well if your sure...."
She opens her hand and from it spray a handful of small spheres which spread out.
She taps he thump and index finger together
and the sheres explode just as the thing flys through them.
She giggles again
"Now that was fun... We should do this again sometime"

The thing disappears. Theo smiles. Suddenly it reappears. But in front of the speeder. Theo jerks the controls and they barely miss the thing and head down a side "road". Theo curses. A wrong turn.

Lotus ends up upside down for a few seconds as Theo loops. Her suit attatched to the bottom (top) of the speeder she gets an interesting view of the thing as it gets closer. As she is righted she grabs a pair of long sharp spikes from her belt and flicks them into the air. Activating them with an eyelid flick the spikes deply into small missle shaped aircraft that chase after the thing. Thier diamond tipped noses intending to impale the beast and hinder it enough for the pair to escape on Theo's latest aquisition. The spikes intuitivly target vital movement joints and they soon impale themselves into the wing joints of the thing, surprised it drops like a stone.
