Koalas should be poisoned or have poisoned weapons as an upgrade since many have STD's.

Agreed. Honey Badger will charge anything ( fearless ) and a Heavy Support bear could be a Grizzly, Also the Spectacled Bear could be Air support considering they chill, eat, and sleep in trees for most of there life.

The "head makers of this codex"? How do you work that out? Automatically Appended Next Post: Da Kommizzar wrote:Wait, how do you exchange your claws for plasmaguns!? Wouldn't that hurt?
Otter craftsmanship exceeds that of the Imperium, indeed even the Eldar. Automatically Appended Next Post: evildrspock wrote:

actually, there is no proper term for allowing any and all hits to be re-rolled in cc. Master-crafted only allows one hit per assult by that model to be re-rolled.

Hey, so I'm gonna try and playtest an 1850 list from this dex against my buddies T-sons this weekend. Should be awesome just from the sheer ridiculousness of it. I will say, the Bear Army reminds me rather forcefully of nids, in large part due to the lack of ranged weapons on many choices, and rather poor armor saves on almost everything, aside from one HS that gets a 2+, and one elites that gets a decent invul.
Still, to actually use this I'm going to have to make a couple of assumptions, namely, that everything has unit type "beast". Also, "Bear armor" upgrades the bear lord's save to a 2+/5++. All of the "twin-linked CC weapons" allow rerolls to hit. Bear catapult has I3, and fired bears can assault the turn they land, but may not run. Cyclists are I4. Armored bears are I4.
Also, what is the unit size for brown bears supposed to be? A lone T4 W1 Sv5+ model with no ranged attacks has almost no purpose on the battlefield.
I'll post my proposed 1850 list later today, and the battle report hopefully sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Didn't expect anyone to actually play with the list, have ammended original page with unit types (nearly all beast, penguin and koalas infantry) and missing initiative, also bear catapult is artillery.
Let me know how it goes!
